Kymco-to-Vespa fork project

Will probably get "donor" Vespa fork and have it cut just below bearing race. Will cut Kymco fork at same place, weld together very securely, and put Vespa fork tube up through the frame, with Vespa headset (or Stella w/ master cylinder for disk brake). May eventually convert to "handlebar" arrangement w/ no real headset, and digital speedo.

may have to remove or reconfigure these fork stops the kymco fork is about 1/8 inch narrower in diameter and about 1 or 1.5 inches too short to mate it with its former handlebars (not to mention bearing races mismatch).

I love the look of it, though I may opt for a smaller tire. We'll see how it rides. May make a custom fender. Not a fan of the plastic one that came with it, even in black.

Took the dust covers off the fork, looks much nicer. Later it'll lose the graphics and the hub will go black. side-by-side comparison, you can see how short the kymco fork is on top.
